I am honored and excited to serve as the MD-2 State Leo Council President for the upcoming year. I am a senior at San Marcos Academy and have been an active member of Leo Club for the past seven years.

Within my local club, the San Marcos Academy Leo Club, I have served as President for the last three years. At the district level, I served as Treasurer during 8th and 9th grades, Vice President in 10th grade, and President during my junior and senior years. At the state level, I served as Treasurer in 8th and 9th grades, Vice President in 10th and 11th grades, and am honored to serve as State President during my senior year.

One of my proudest Leo accomplishments was designing the MD-2 State Leo Pin for the 2024–2025 year. Throughout my Leo journey, I have received local and district recognition as Leo of the Year, earned awards for outstanding service hours, and had the opportunity to attend the Lions Clubs International Convention in Florida.

Outside of Leo Club, I have been actively involved in leadership and service organizations. I participated in NJHS during middle school and currently serve in NHS at San Marcos Academy. During my senior year, I will also serve as a Student Ambassador, representing San Marcos Academy and helping welcome and mentor prospective and new students. Through ROTC, I held the position of Battalion Executive Officer (XO) during my junior year, led both the Color Guard and Saber Guard, and participated in the Veterans Day Parade. During my senior year, I will serve as A Company Commander.

Athletics have also played an important role in my high school experience. I competed in Cross Country during my freshman and sophomore years, qualifying for the state meet both years. I have played varsity basketball for the past three years and varsity tennis for the past three years, qualifying for the State Tournament each season.

As State Leo Council President, I look forward to working alongside our council members and Leos across Texas to create meaningful service projects, strengthen leadership skills, collaborate with clubs throughout the state, and build lasting friendships through fellowship and service. Together, we can continue making a positive impact in our communities while embodying the Leo motto of Leadership, Experience, and Opportunity.
